The work
Agricultural advice in Turkey is usually issued at the province level, yet two neighbouring fields can differ in soil, slope and crop. Bereketim brings the scale down to the field itself: the farmer enters a cadastral plot number and the app maps the field automatically through land-registry integration — no manual boundary drawing.
Once the field is defined, the app takes over three jobs: a 7-day forecast for that exact location, an alert when it is time to irrigate, and fertilizer dosage calculated for the crop actually planted. When the data is not enough, an agricultural engineer is one tap away inside the app.
Approach
The audience works from a phone, not a desktop, so the product was built mobile-first and shipped to iOS and Android on the same day. Core features keep working offline for weak-coverage areas.
Core usage is free; advanced analytics sit in a premium tier. Because location and plot data are processed, compliance with Turkish data-protection law (KVKK) was part of the design from day one.
